Our procedure

Simply visit one of our two showrooms where you can browse at your leisure and then, if you like what you see, discuss your requirements over a freshly ground cup of coffee. We can then arrange a home survey for one of our designers. We will visit your house at a time convenient to yourself to discuss your requirements in terms of door style, appliances, worktops and budget.

You do not need an appointment prior to your visit, but please feel free to make one if you happen to be travelling some distance, as this will ensure that we can dedicate the time required to go through all the details.

It is never too early to start planning a kitchen when it is part of building work. Your builders will require an electrical layout quite early on so the kitchen must be planned by this stage. We liaise with clients' builders to ensure a smooth installation which is beneficial to all, or we can arrange for our associate building company to survey, and carry out the work.

Until the kitchen is ordered, the final choices are not key but you should consider the following, all of which will go most of the way to determining the overall cost and duration of the project:

What type of door do you want?

Which appliances would you like to have?

What kind of worktops would best suit your lifestyle?

What wall and floor finishes would you like?

Design process

Having taken your instructions, we will prepare a design based upon them. Our initial design and estimate is provided for you free of charge as we believe it fair to give our clients the chance to see how we operate, and how our prices compare with others before any charges are incurred. Although we do not charge for initial designs, please appreciate this is a professional service and lack of cost does not reflect a lack of value, nor a lack of costs incurred by us!

Order Process

Once the design is finalised, we will ask you for a deposit of 25%. The materials are then ordered and can take between six and ten weeks for delivery depending on the kitchen you have chosen. The delivery and installation date will be agreed with you at the time of order.

Delivery/Installation

We will deliver to you on the agreed day, often a Friday to allow fitting to start first thing Monday but entirely up to you. A progress payment of 70% is payable at this point. Stone and Corian worktops require a template and there is usually seven working days between template and installation of the worktops. Your installation will be overseen by your designer, who will project manage the whole job, to ensure a swift and professional conclusion to your project. The final balance of 5% is due only when any snagging is complete.

Building Work

If your project involves building work of any kind, our associate building company would be pleased to quote for this - meaning you will only deal with one organisation from beginning to end, giving you complete peace of mind and clear accountability.
